Gun Control is What Started the War for Independence

The fighting at Lexington and Concord didn’t happen because the British army came to collect taxes. It was gun control.

Of course, the government-run schools don’t teach this.

What finally forced the patriots into a shooting war with the British Army at Lexington and Concord on April 19, 1775 was not taxes or even warrantless searches of homes or occupation by soldiers, but one of many attempts by the British to disarm Americans as part of an overall gun control program. Rutherford Warns Florida ‘No Go Zone’ Law Could Chill First Amendment Activity, Thwart Citizen Journalists & Embolden Police Misconduct

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Recognizing the need for the government to strike that necessary yet delicate balance between liberty and safety, The Rutherford Institute has concluded that Florida’s “no go zone” law, which would criminalize approaching or remaining within 25 feet of a police officer or other first responder after having been warned not to approach, fails to strike that necessary balance. The Global Deep State: A Fascist World Order Funded by the American Taxpayer

The debate over U.S. foreign aid is a distraction.

That’s not to say that the amount of taxpayer money flowing to foreign countries in the form of military and economic assistance is insignificant. Even at less than 1% of the federal budget, the United States still spends more on foreign aid than any other nation.

The latest foreign aid spending bill includes $95 billion for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan.

Since World War II, the U.S. has given more foreign aid to Israel than any other country ($318 billion), with the bulk of those funds designated for Israel’s military efforts.

Sometimes you don’t get a warning before all hell breaks loose.

Barely ten seconds later, someone or an army of someones has crashed through your front door.

The intruders are in your home.

Trudeau’s Red Diaper In A Twist Over The Return of President Trump

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s pondering about what Donald Trump’s “possible” return to the White House—and what it would mean for Canada if Trump defeats President Joe Biden in November is testament to how glaringly out of touch he is with the outside world.

It is not Canada that would most matter if Trump doesn’t return to the White House— but the fate of the entire Western world.

Self-centered, out of touch Trudeau doesn’t recognize the fact that ‘Without America there is no free world’.

Criminality in the White House: The Rise of the Political Psychopath

Many years ago, a newspaper headline asked the question: “What’s the difference between a politician and a psychopath?”

The answer, then and now, remains the same: None.

There is no difference between psychopaths and politicians.

Nor is there much of a difference between the havoc wreaked on innocent lives by uncaring, unfeeling, selfish, irresponsible, parasitic criminals and elected officials who lie to their constituents, trade political favors for campaign contributions, turn a blind eye to the wishes of the electorate, cheat taxpayers out of hard-earned dollars, favor the corporate elite, entrench the military industrial complex, and spare little thought for the impact their thoughtless actions and hastily passed legislation might have on defenseless citizens. When does violence become a rational response?

In only 75 years we have gone from a nation with teenagers willing to fight and win a war on two fronts to teenagers who can’t decide what sex they are and who become hysterical with rage and tears if challenged on the matter.

Bah Humbug: The Police State Wants Us To Be a Nation of Snowflakes

What a year.

It feels as if government Grinches and corporate Scrooges have been working overtime to drain every last drop of joy, kindness and liberty from the world.

After endless months of being mired in political gloom and doom, we could all use a little Christmas cheer right now.

Unfortunately, Christmas has become embattled in recent years, co-opted by rampant commercialism, straight-jacketed by political correctness, and denuded of so much of its loveliness, holiness and mystery.

Indeed, the season for giving has turned into the season for getting…and for getting offended.
